Diagnosis: Females can be easily recognized by the absence of epigynal teeth, the presence of an anteriorly situated epigynal cavity, the deep, posteriorly situated epigynal hoods, and the long, strongly convoluted spermathecae, males by the presence of two patellar apophyses (one of them strongly reduced in some specimens), the elongated lateral cymbial furrow, the presence of a conductor posterior apophysis, the long embolus, and the absence of a median apophysis. Both sexes have 3 promarginal and 2 retromarginal cheliceral teeth |
